Synopsis of Avalanche:

In the breathtaking yet unforgiving mountains of Colorado, danger doesn’t always come from the snow.

When a routine avalanche mitigation turns deadly, the victim is identified as Todd Radford, a man with ties that hit far too close to home for Sheriff Sam Winslow as Todd is the ex-husband of Sam’s former girlfriend, Millie. As suspicion mounts, circumstantial evidence begins to paint a damning picture of Sam as the killer. With no solid alibi and pressure from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation closing in, Sam is arrested and stripped of his badge.

Cut off from the investigation he once would have led, Sam can only watch as his world unravels. His loyal deputies, convinced of his innocence, risk everything to uncover the truth to clear their sheriff’s name before time runs out.

But not everyone believes Sam is innocent. Tristan Radford, Todd’s brother, relentless in his pursuit of justice and vengeance, is convinced Sam had every reason to eliminate his rival for Millie’s love.
