About J L: J L Mulvihill (Jen) is an author, screenwriter, editor, talk show host, and public speaker. She has two y/a series: Steel Roots written in the dystopian steampunk genre; and The Elsie Lind Chronicles written in the epic fantasy genre. Jen has co-edited Southern Haunts anthology which includes her own short stories and poetry. She has a variety of short stories published in multiple anthologies throughout the midsouth and northwest regions in the genres of steampunk and paranormal thrillers as well as her most recent stories His Eyes in Violet Windows anthology and Tea Muse in Dreams of a Tea Drinker. Jen has various published essays and poetry and has received an award for best screenplay in short format for her own short story Sand Mermaids.

J L Mulvihill is known not just for her writing but also her public speaking where she encourages other writers to hone their skills. Jen is currently working on several writing projects including four novels and a movie script.
