Cover Reveal for AshleyRose Sullivan’s Silver Tongue!

Seventh Star Press is proud to reveal the cover art created by AshleyRose Sullivan for her brand new YA alternate history novel Silver Tongue.

Silver Tongue will be released on Tuesday, April 21st in print and all eBook formats. The editor for this project was Karen M. Leet.

Silver Tongue will take readers on an exciting journey into an alternate history version of North America.

The Colonies lost the Revolutionary War. Now it’s 1839 and the North American continent is divided into three territories: New Britannia, Nueva Espana, and Nouvelle France where seventeen-year-old Claire Poissant lives.

Claire has a magical way with words—literally. But a mystical power of persuasion isn’t the only thing that makes her different. Half-French and half-Indian, Claire doesn’t feel at home in either world. Maybe that’s why she’s bonded so tightly with her fellow outcasts and best friends: Phileas, a young man whose towering intellect and sexuality have always made him the target of bullies, and Sam, a descendant of George Washington who shares the disgraced general’s terrible, secret curse.

But when Sam’s family is murdered, these bonds are tested and Claire’s special ability is strained to its limits as the three hunt the men responsible into dangerous lands. Along the way they cross paths with P.T. Barnum, William Frankenstein and other characters from both history and fantasy as they learn the hard way that man is often the most horrific monster and that growing up sometimes means learning to let go of the things you hold most dear.

About AshleyRose Sullivan: Born and raised in Appalachia, AshleyRose Sullivan now lives, writes, and paints in Los Angeles. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University and her first novel, Awesome Jones: A Superhero Fairy Tale is available from Seventh Star Press. A journal entry from Captain Jacob Billet gives you an idea of what to expect in the pages of this new novel…

“Journal Entry – Sunday April 5, 2026

It’s raining, it’s pouring, the undead are roaring…

Amassed at the UCRA east end enclosure, the dead strain the fence line while soldiers keep watchful eyes, the survivors on the opposite side of the rising river about to lose their minds.

It’s a crazy time: nonstop precipitation; everyone’s up in arms; paranoid city council members with an asshat City Treasurer. Water, water everywhere. Zees dropping into the churning drink. Troops afraid of being stitched up and thrown back into the fray as Zombie Troopers. Tank commanders getting itchy to head out on their own after drug-laden shamblers. Reganshire insurgents trying to extract our west side civvies for some unknown reason, possibly pushing the city into taking heavy-handed action against them.

Interior illustration by Tim Holtrop from Hunt for the Fallen

Then there’s some black-haired dead dude staring at me through the fence, grinning like he’s off his meds.

And I thought Lettner was a headache.

All this sh*t might give me a heart attack.”

Interior Illustration by Tim Holtrop from Hunt for the Fallen

The eBook version of Hunt for the Fallen will be available on Monday, December 22 for Kindle, Nook, Kobo, iTunes and others. The print version will be right at the New Year!

Cover Art and Illustration Reveal for Stephen Zimmer’s The Undying Light!

Seventh Star Press is proud to unveil the brand new cover art from Matthew Perry for The Undying Light, Book Four of the Rising Dawn Saga from award-winning author Stephen Zimmer.

The Undying Light will be released in eBook and softcover formats at the end of June.

The Undying Light continues the cross-genre saga as the darkness of the Abyss spreads across a world in turmoil.   Reeling from a pandemic, economic instability and a war between the world’s greatest powers, people of all nations look with hope toward a fast-rising light who leads the World Summit’s Peace Commission: Kaira Antipalos.  Those closest around her know that she is the realization of the Convergence, the final step in bringing the entire world into one political and economic order.

The UCAS is now divided as the fire of revolution sweeps across the south and midwest.  Rebel provinces uniting in common cause prepare for the inevitable response of a wounded, angered UCAS government; one that tightens its hold upon its remaining territory with force, unprecedented surveillance and the new technology called Living ID.

Within this time of conflict and fear, individuals must choose to make their own stands:  Among them, Benedict makes his way from UCAS territory carrying the knowledge of a horrifying discovery about the Nephilim made while in UCAS detention. Gregory leads rebel forces along the borders of the free provinces.  Skylar uses her rare gift on behalf of the Shield Maidens to go on an unusual quest, one with implications for every living thing in the world.

Time is running ever shorter as Diabolos presses the war that began before time itself.  As realms of all natures fall under the shadow of the Abyss and the power of Death itself is brought to fullness, the only thing that stands in the way of Darkness’ final victory is the Undying Light.

About the author: Stephen Zimmer is an award-winning author and filmmaker whose works include cross-genre Rising Dawn Saga, the epic fantasy Fires in Eden series, the Hellscapes short stories, the steampunk Harvey and Solomon Tales, and the sword and sorcery Rayden Valkyrie stories.  Stephen resides in Lexington and can be found at www.stephenzimmer.com  You can also follow him on Facebook at www.facebook.com/stephenzimmer7 or twitter @sgzimmer

SSP Proudly Reveals Cover Art and Release Information for Selah Janel’s Olde School!

Seventh Star Press is proud to reveal the cover art by Jason C. Conley for Selah Janel’s Olde School, Book One of the cross-genre series The Kingdom City Chronicles!

Olde School introduces you to Kingdom City, which has moved into the modern era. Run by a lord mayor and city council (though still under the influence of the High King of The Land), it proudly embraces a blend of progress and tradition. Trolls, ogres, and other Folk walk the streets with humans, but are more likely to be entrepreneurs than cause trouble. Princesses still want to be rescued, but they now frequent online dating services to encourage lords, royals, and politicians to win their favor. The old stories are around, but everyone knows they’re just fodder for the next movie franchise. Everyone knows there’s no such thing as magic. It’s all old superstition and harmless tradition.

Selah Janel’s Olde School

Bookish, timid, and more likely to carry a laptop than a weapon, Paddlelump Stonemonger is quickly coming to wish he’d never put a toll bridge over Crescent Ravine. While his success has brought him lots of gold, it’s also brought him unwanted attention from the Lord Mayor. Adding to his frustration, Padd’s oldest friends give him a hard time when his new maid seems inept at best and conniving at worst. When a shepherd warns Paddlelump of strange noises coming from Thadd Forest, he doesn’t think much of it. Unfortunately for him, the history of his land goes back further than anyone can imagine. Before long he’ll realize that he should have paid attention to the old tales and carried a club.

Darkness threatens to overwhelm not only Paddlelump, but the entire realm. With a little luck, a strange bird, a feisty waitress, and some sturdy friends, maybe, just maybe, Padd will survive to eat another meal at Trip Trap’s diner. It’s enough to make the troll want to crawl under his bridge, if he can manage to keep it out of the clutches of greedy politicians.

About Selah: Selah Janel has been blessed with a giant imagination and a love of story since she was little and convinced that fairies lived in the nearby state park or vampires hid in the abandoned barns outside of town. Learning to read and being encouraged by those around her only made things worse. Her work ranges from e-books to traditional print, and she prefers to write every genre at once rather than choose just one. The stories Holly and Ivy, The Other Man, and Mooner are available online through Mocha Memoirs Press. Her work has also been included in The MacGuffin, The Realm Beyond, Stories for Children Magazine, The Big Bad: an Anthology of Evil, Thunder on the Battlefield: Sorcery, The Grotesquerie, and the short story collection Lost in the Shadows, co-written with S.H. Roddey. She likes her music to rock, her vampires lethal, her fairies to play mind games, and her princesses to have adventures and hold their own.

Cover Reveal for Hades Disciples by Best-Selling Author Michael West!

Seventh Star Press is proud to reveal the cover art from award-winning artist Matthew Perry for Hades Disciples, the 2nd Book in the acclaimed Legacy of the Gods series from best-selling author Michael West!

Hades Disciples takes you on the urban/dark fantasy journey that began in Poseidon’s Children. Terrifying creatures exist all around us, hiding in plain sight. Ancient. Deadly. They gather in secret, conspiring, dreaming of nothing less than humanity’s destruction, and their numbers are growing.

Earl Preston knows the danger all too well. After tangling with a horde of mythological sea monsters in Colonial Bay, he has been tasked with finding these beasts and exposing their plans whatever they may be. But Earl is not the only one with a mystery on their hands. At the very top of the world, Carol Miyagi has stumbled onto an artifact from Earth’s past, something magnificent held captive in a prison of ice and snow. Now, Carol and Earl must work quickly to decipher the will of the gods–a plot that defies imagination–and to stop their followers from carrying it out.

They thought the nightmare was over, but they are about to discover that the horror has only just begun.

Regarding the upcoming release of Hades Disciples, Michael West commented, “Whenever I write a story, I hope it appeals to people, that the characters will feel real and connect with my readers, and I am so pleased that readers all around the world have fallen in love with my Carol, Earl, and the rest of my diverse cast. With Hades’ Disciples, I get the chance to dive more deeply into the mythology introduced in Poseidon’s Children, and the stakes are much higher now. Fans who thrilled at all the action, excitement and twisted weirdness of Book One will not be disappointed.”

Hades Disciples will be released in late April in trade paperback and all eBook formats, including Kindle, Kobo, Nook, and for the iBookstore.  The book will feature new interior illustrations from Matthew Perry and also brings back Poseidon’s Children editor Amanda DeBord.
