Cover Art and Illustration Reveal for Stephen Zimmer’s The Undying Light!

Seventh Star Press is proud to unveil the brand new cover art from Matthew Perry for The Undying Light, Book Four of the Rising Dawn Saga from award-winning author Stephen Zimmer.

The Undying Light will be released in eBook and softcover formats at the end of June.

The Undying Light continues the cross-genre saga as the darkness of the Abyss spreads across a world in turmoil.   Reeling from a pandemic, economic instability and a war between the world’s greatest powers, people of all nations look with hope toward a fast-rising light who leads the World Summit’s Peace Commission: Kaira Antipalos.  Those closest around her know that she is the realization of the Convergence, the final step in bringing the entire world into one political and economic order.

The UCAS is now divided as the fire of revolution sweeps across the south and midwest.  Rebel provinces uniting in common cause prepare for the inevitable response of a wounded, angered UCAS government; one that tightens its hold upon its remaining territory with force, unprecedented surveillance and the new technology called Living ID.

Within this time of conflict and fear, individuals must choose to make their own stands:  Among them, Benedict makes his way from UCAS territory carrying the knowledge of a horrifying discovery about the Nephilim made while in UCAS detention. Gregory leads rebel forces along the borders of the free provinces.  Skylar uses her rare gift on behalf of the Shield Maidens to go on an unusual quest, one with implications for every living thing in the world.

Time is running ever shorter as Diabolos presses the war that began before time itself.  As realms of all natures fall under the shadow of the Abyss and the power of Death itself is brought to fullness, the only thing that stands in the way of Darkness’ final victory is the Undying Light.

The first book in the Adventures of Blue Shaefer, Haunting Blue introduces readers to the title character, punk, blue-haired “Blue” Shaefer. As the book unfolds, Blue is at odds with her workaholic single mother. Raised as a city girl in a suburb of Indianapolis, Blue must abandon the life she knows when her unfeeling mother moves them to a dreadful small town. Blue befriends the only student willing to talk to her: computer nerd “Chip” Farren.

Chip knows the connection between the rickety pirate boat ride at the local amusement park and the missing money from an infamous bank heist the townspeople still talk about. When Blue helps him recover the treasure, they awaken a vengeful ghost who’ll stop at nothing–not even murder–to prevent them from exposing the truth behind his evil deeds.

Earl Preston knows the danger all too well. After tangling with a horde of mythological sea monsters in Colonial Bay, he has been tasked with finding these beasts and exposing their plans whatever they may be. But Earl is not the only one with a mystery on their hands. At the very top of the world, Carol Miyagi has stumbled onto an artifact from Earth’s past, something magnificent held captive in a prison of ice and snow. Now, Carol and Earl must work quickly to decipher the will of the gods–a plot that defies imagination–and to stop their followers from carrying it out.

They thought the nightmare was over, but they are about to discover that the horror has only just begun.

Cover Reveal for Hades Disciples by Best-Selling Author Michael West!

Seventh Star Press is proud to reveal the cover art from award-winning artist Matthew Perry for Hades Disciples, the 2nd Book in the acclaimed Legacy of the Gods series from best-selling author Michael West!

Hades Disciples takes you on the urban/dark fantasy journey that began in Poseidon’s Children. Terrifying creatures exist all around us, hiding in plain sight. Ancient. Deadly. They gather in secret, conspiring, dreaming of nothing less than humanity’s destruction, and their numbers are growing.

Regarding the upcoming release of Hades Disciples, Michael West commented, “Whenever I write a story, I hope it appeals to people, that the characters will feel real and connect with my readers, and I am so pleased that readers all around the world have fallen in love with my Carol, Earl, and the rest of my diverse cast. With Hades’ Disciples, I get the chance to dive more deeply into the mythology introduced in Poseidon’s Children, and the stakes are much higher now. Fans who thrilled at all the action, excitement and twisted weirdness of Book One will not be disappointed.”

Hades Disciples will be released in late April in trade paperback and all eBook formats, including Kindle, Kobo, Nook, and for the iBookstore.  The book will feature new interior illustrations from Matthew Perry and also brings back Poseidon’s Children editor Amanda DeBord.

Synopsis are below:

Hero’s Best Friend Synopsis: How far would Gandalf have gotten without Shadowfax? Where would the Vault Dweller be without Dogmeat? And could the Beastmaster been the Beastmaster without his fuzzy allies? Animal companions are more than just sidekicks. Animals can be heroes, too!

Found within are twenty stories of heroic action that focuses on the furries and scalies who have long been the unsung heroes pulling their foolish human buddies out of the fire, and often at great sacrifice—from authors both established and new, including Frank Creed, S. H. Roddey, and Steven S. Long.

Whether you’re a fan of Epic Fantasy, Sword & Sorcery, Science Fiction, or just animal stories in general, this is the anthology for you!

So sit back, kick your feet up, and find out what it truly means to be the Hero’s Best Friend.

Synopsis of A Chimerical World: Tales of the Seelie Court: The Fey have been with us since the beginning, sometimes to our great joy but often to our detriment. Usually divided (at least by us silly humans) into two courts, the first volume of A Chimerical World focuses on the Seelie Court: the court we humans seem to view as the “good” faeries. But “good” and “evil” are human concepts and as alien to the Fey as their mindsets are to us.

Inside you will find 19 stories that delve into the world of the faeries of the Seelie Court, from authors both established and new, including George S. Walker, Eric Garrison, and Alexandra Christian.

But be warned: these faeries are nothing like Tinker Bell.

Synopsis of A Chimerical World: Tales of the Unseelie Court: The Fey have been with us since the beginning, sometimes to our great joy but often to our detriment. Usually divided (at least by us silly humans) into two courts, the second volume of A Chimerical World focuses on the Unseelie Court: the court we humans seem to view as the “evil” faeries. But “good” and “evil” are human concepts and as alien to the Fey as their mindsets are to us.

Inside you will find 19 stories that delve into the world of the faeries of the Unseelie Court, from authors both established and new, including Michael Shimek, Deedee Davies, and Nick Bryan.

But don’t be surprised if these faeries decide to play with their food.
