Synopsis of Episode One:

The fate of Appalachia lay in the hands of Alex Judge Hunter, a Vietnam veteran, occasional bounty hunter, and father cursed with seeing the dead and those hidden from human awareness. Alongside his daughter, Sammy, whose own destiny will take her beyond the realms, and Alex’s drug-addled Ex-Brother in-law with dark secrets and a bleak future of his own, Jerry Barber, the trio will team up with Zizo, a proud and intelligent leader of an ancient order of guardians, to put a stop to a malicious entity determined to raise some literal hell.

These four will journey across a dark and weird version of West Virginia, circa 1978, brimming with creatures new and old from folklore, myths, and legends. With a bit of luck and each other’s backs, they hope to stop the mysterious Ember Crown order from achieving their goal of raising a long-dead power from the beyond, endangering the realms of humankind, Faye-kind, and the dead.

Every adventure begins with the first step, and this will be theirs… Welcome to the world of New Weird Mythology!

Episode One is the first installment in the Alex J. Hunter vs. the Devil Lords of the Ember Crown Series!
